When we fall, it’s easy to feel like we’ve failed. Like the story is over. But here’s the truth: falling is part of the process. Falling is where the wisdom and the growth live. Every single time I’ve hit the floor, I’ve picked myself up with a little more clarity, a little more strength, and a lot more courage.

The fall is where you meet yourself. It’s where you see how brave you are. It’s messy, uncomfortable, and sometimes downright painful. But it’s also where the magic happens.

If you’ve fallen, it means you’re in motion. You’re taking bold steps. You’re putting yourself out there. And that? That’s where the real transformation begins.

The Power of Rising

It’s not about avoiding the fall. It’s about how you rise after it.

Every time you peel yourself off the floor, you’re building resilience. You’re proving to yourself that you can do hard things. And not just survive them, but thrive because of them.

Think back to the last time you fell. You got back up, didn’t you? And when you did, you learned something. Maybe it was about your strength. Maybe it was about trusting your intuition. Maybe it was about what you truly want, or what you don’t.

Rising isn’t just about getting back to where you were. It’s about stepping into something new. It’s about taking the lessons from the fall and using them to create the next version of yourself.

Fall, Rise, Repeat

This cycle—fall, rise, repeat—it’s how we grow. It’s how we create. It’s how we become the person we’re meant to be.

And let’s be real: it’s not a one-time thing. You’re going to fall again. And again. And every time, you’ll rise a little stronger, a little wiser, and a little more aligned with your truth.

Sometimes, it feels foggy. Sometimes, you’ll make choices you wish you hadn’t. Sometimes, life will throw you a curveball you weren’t prepared for. But every fall holds gifts, lessons, and clarity… if you’re willing to see them.

Your Gifts Matter

What’s waiting for you on the other side of the fall? That dream you’ve been holding onto. That idea that’s been sitting on the shelf for far too long. That version of yourself that you know, deep down, you’re capable of becoming.

Your dreams matter. Your gifts matter. The process of creating matters. And every time you rise, you’re getting closer to stepping into the life you’re meant to live.

Welcome to Email 4 in my Celebrating in the Messy and a Reclamation series! Yes I'm still going! The downloads are continuing to come.

If you've been following along, I've shared about the courage to leap, to be seen, and to live fully.

But today, I want to talk about something deeper—the big shifts that changed everything for me.

These shifts didn't happen overnight. They were born out of some of the hardest moments of my life. But looking back, I realize they created magic—the kind of magic that comes when you decide to take control of your story, no matter how impossible it feels.

The Shift That Changed Everything

Here's the truth: No one was coming to save me but me.

For years, I waited. I waited for doctors to listen, for someone to tell me what was wrong, for someone to give me the answers I desperately needed.

I'd been to the emergency room and doctors' offices more than 10 times, only to be sent home again and again. They told me:

• “It's nothing serious—take some Pepto Bismol.”

• “Maybe you just have ulcers.”

• “You're fine.”

But I wasn't fine. Deep down, I knew something was wrong.

Things hit rock bottom during a trip to Palm Springs. I was using an inhaler just to walk a few steps. I spent most of the trip lying on the hotel bed, unable to enjoy the time away. I could barely make it to the elevator without collapsing.

Thinking back now- I didn't even have medical insurance, can you imagine?

When I got home, I ended up in emergency again—this time at 2:00 AM, feeling like I was having a heart attack. The reception nurse brushed me off, saying, “It's nothing serious.”

But this time, I demanded answers.

I advocated for myself like my life depended on it—because it did.

The Official Diagnosis Moments…

My Biggest Supporter…

The Diagnosis That Changed My Life

Finally, after so many dismissals, I was diagnosed with end-stage heart failure.

Hearing those words was devastating. And then came the second blow: this was just the beginning of a terminal diagnosis. The only path forward was a heart transplant, and emergency heavy CHEMOTHERAPY. ( On round 37 to this day )

For a moment, it felt like my dreams were slipping away. I thought about all the things I might never see: my grandson being born, my children growing up, their weddings, their milestones.

But then something shifted.

I realized that if I wanted to see those moments, if I wanted to live the life I'd dreamed of, I had to fight for it.

Choosing to Be My Best Advocate

That's when I made the biggest shift of all: I decided to be my own best advocate.

I stopped waiting for someone else to save me. I stopped hoping someone else would tell me what I needed to do. I became my own best friend, my biggest supporter, and my fiercest advocate.

There's one person you can never get away from—you.

And if you don't show up for yourself, who will?

From that moment on, I chose to stay in the energy of healing. I chose to believe that I could defy the odds, that I could achieve my dreams no matter what.

I decided:

• I will be here to see my grandson born.

• I will be here to see my children grow, get married, and live out their dreams.

• I will create the life I've always wanted, no matter what challenges come my way.

And every day, I wake up and choose that energy again and again. Because I know that the magic isn't in waiting for life to happen to me, it's in deciding. It's in showing up for yourself, even when it feels impossible.

Welcome to the final email in my Celebrating in the Messy and a Reclamation series!

Over the past two emails, I’ve shared what it’s been like to say yes to new beginnings, to trust my intuition, and to let go of the things that no longer served me. But today, I want to go deeper.

Every leap I’ve taken has required courage. Courage to listen to my inner voice. Courage to move through fear. Courage to trust that the path would reveal itself as I walked it.

And here’s the most important part: You have that courage, too.

Today, I want to share the moments I’ve felt most afraid but decided to leap anyway—and how each leap brought me closer to living a life aligned with my purpose.

Life is fragile. If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s that tomorrow is never promised. I’ve had to face my own mortality head-on, and that realization shifted everything for me.

I realized I couldn’t keep waiting for “the right time” to chase my dreams. I couldn’t keep putting off the things that made me feel alive. So, I made a decision: I would start checking things off my bucket list, even if they were small or seemingly insignificant.

One of the biggest leaps I took was leaving the country and traveling. It wasn’t always for long trips, and it wasn’t always extravagant. But each trip reminded me of what mattered most: living fully, experiencing joy, and making my dreams a priority.

The courage to start living wasn’t about grand gestures—it was about saying yes to the things that made me feel connected to life.

The Courage to Be Seen

For years, I put off scheduling a branding photoshoot. The thought of stepping in front of a camera made me feel exposed.

I worried about judgments and criticisms: What will people think? Am I “enough” for this? I kept telling myself, I’ll do it when I look better, when I feel more confident, when I’m more “ready.”

But deep down, I knew this wasn’t just about photos. It was about stepping into the version of me I’d been dreaming of—the version who wasn’t afraid to be seen, who wasn’t held back by fear of judgment, and who knew she was worthy of taking up space.

When the day of the shoot finally came, I felt the emotions bubbling up—doubt, hesitation, fear. But instead of letting them stop me, I asked myself: What would the most aligned, most powerful version of me do right now?

She’d show up. She’d stand tall. She’d take the leap.

So, I channeled her energy. And as the camera started clicking, I could feel something shift. This wasn’t just about photos—it was about claiming who I was becoming and owning my place in the world.

The Courage to Create Something New

Reinvention Through Healing: My Heart Transplant Documentary

When I was asked to share my transplant journey in a documentary, I didn’t hesitate for a second. It was a hell yes.

I knew in my heart that this was an opportunity to turn my pain into something meaningful—to show others what healing, resilience, and starting over really look like.

There was no second-guessing. No worrying about how I’d look or what people might think. I said yes because I believed in the power of sharing our stories—the real, messy, human parts of them.

That documentary became a symbol of my fresh start. It was a way to honor my journey, to reclaim my voice, and to celebrate the gift of life.

And every time I hear from someone who’s been inspired by it, I’m reminded of the importance of saying yes to the things that scare us.

But as my heart began to fail, life forced me to step back. I reached a point where I couldn’t speak for more than two minutes without gasping for breath. My heart was failing so fast, I had no choice but to let go of my practice.

Letting go from a hospital bed was heartbreaking. But even as I grieved, I realized my mission wasn’t over—it was evolving.

Today, I’m pivoting to show people this in a new way: by guiding dreamers, creators, and purpose-driven individuals to step into their power, create meaningful businesses, and bring their unique magic into the world. I want to show you not only how to dream big but also take inspired action to make those dreams a reality.

I work with big thinkers and creative souls—people who want to make an impact, become an entrepreneur, and create something magical and of service to the world. This is the work that lights me up, and I am pouring my heart into helping others dream bigger, get unstuck, tap into realignment and intuition, heal the deepest wounds and dialogue, and change their beliefs so you can turn their ideas into reality.

Becoming a Wedding Commissioner: A Celebration of Love

After my heart transplant I became RUTHLESS and SO BRAVE…realizing how short and fragile life is, I decided I'm going for all the things!

When I started to explore what this could look like, the idea of becoming a wedding commissioner came into focus. At first, I thought, Who am I to do this? The fear of standing in front of couples on their most important day, of finding the right words, of stepping into something so special—it was overwhelming.

But deep down, I knew this was about more than officiating weddings. It was about leaning into my purpose: to celebrate love, connection, and the beauty of the human heart. It was about showing up for others in a way that felt deeply meaningful.

I can’t tell you how nervous I was at my first ceremony. My heart raced as I wondered if I’d stumble over my words or let fear take over. But the moment I spoke the first line, something shifted. I realized this wasn’t about me—it was about creating a moment of joy, love, and connection for others.

Now, every ceremony feels like a celebration of something bigger than all of us: the power of love, courage, and taking chances.

As I reflect on the past few years, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the things I’ve experienced, created, and overcome. It hasn’t been easy—far from it—but I’ve realized that celebrating the small wins, the big dreams, and even the tough lessons is what keeps me moving forward.

A few years ago, I had a dream to create something that could help women like me—women navigating unexpected life challenges, burnout, or transitions. I poured my heart into a project that became The Emotional First Aid Journal (available in paperback or digital version)

I can’t tell you how scared I was to put this out into the world. What if no one cared? What if it didn’t help anyone? But I did it anyway. And seeing women use this journal to find clarity, healing, and hope has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

What have you been wanting to create but you haven't taken the leap yet?

Healing is not a straight path—it’s messy, unpredictable, and deeply personal. For me, it meant facing some of the hardest moments of my life: a heart transplant and 36 rounds of chemotherapy to date… and still counting.

There were days I wondered if I could keep going, nights when I felt like my body and spirit had been stretched to their limits. But through it all, I discovered something profound: healing isn’t just about survival—it’s about reclaiming joy, purpose, and hope.

Then I Decided to Build a Community From Doubt…

When I started my membership community, I was terrified. What if no one joined? What if I wasn’t enough? But I pushed through the fear, and today, that community has grown to over 450 incredible humans.

It’s become a space of learning, empowerment, motivation, connection, support, and inspiration—a reminder that we’re never truly alone, even when life feels isolating. This celebration isn’t just about numbers. It’s about the courage it took to start something that scared me and the joy of seeing it blossom into something beautiful.

There are so many other moments I’m grateful for:

• Becoming a wedding commissioner and officiating my first three weddings (even though I left my prescription glasses behind at one to never be seen again)

• Taking two special trips with my 87-year-old grandmother, sharing stories and creating memories I’ll treasure forever.

• Pivoting from my private counseling practice to mentoring and coaching others, helping you turn their pain into purpose, and building into something tangible.

Each of these moments may seem small on their own, but together, they represent a life reclaimed—a life filled with intention, courage, and love.

Working on my new office setup, loving this and it's just the start!! I even got a special new “THING” to fill in the wall GAP that I can't wait to share soon!!

As I share these pieces of my journey, I want to ask you: What are you celebrating today?

Maybe it’s a big accomplishment, like starting a new job or finishing a project. Or maybe it’s something quieter, like getting through a tough week or taking time for yourself. Whatever it is, it matters.
